May 5, 2016 - Grandparents Day with Sissy and Charlie.  We had a great day with GiGi and the kids, we got to meet their teachers and see some of their school work.

Holy Thursday, March 24, 2016

We usually get together on Good Friday, but this year it is on Holy Thursday, the girls get their nails done and then we color eggs, always a good time.

My precious Sissy turns 9

For Sissy's birthday shopping, I went and picked her up after a morning basketball game. Since she had played 2 games that morning she was really hungry and wanted to get something to eat but wanted to take a shower also, so she decided we would go to Dairy Queen and get food to go and come to my house, get a shower and then go shopping.  She decided on Toys R Us for shopping and again found all she wanted.  Sissy is such a sweet girl.  She  is very affectionate and known for her Sissy hugs.  She will give them out to anyone who needs one and everyone should experience one of her hugs, it warms your heart.  Then this year we got to celebrate Sissy's birthday on her birthday since it was a Saturday.  Fun was had by all.  Love that girl.

Second Snow Day of 2016

We did more snow sledding and snow man making, another fun day!  I love snow days with my grandkids. Even Daisy got into the snow, she loved it.

Sissy surprised me with this story that she wrote in school.  It really touched me, because all I ever want to do is make good memories with my grandkids and this story showed me that is what we are doing.  Not only having fun sledding but also how we always have to have hot chocolate when we come in from sledding.  I found a few pics of past sledding days.

Kylie starting her second phase with braces!

January 26, 2016, I picked up Kylie from school before lunch because she had a 1:30pm appointment at the orthodontist to get her braces put back on for the second phase. She was really upset by this so she bargained for me to pick her up early and take her out to lunch.  Her mom said I could do this, so I took her to her favorite restaurant, Red Lobster.  It made things better.  So here are a couple of pics before and after braces.
