Funnies from the angels

Kylie was talking to me about where the money that she and Leah made during their kool aid stand at the garage sale should go, I had said maybe the red cross or American Cancer Society and then Kylie says well I think it should go to Japan because they had a salami! I couldn't help myself, I let out a belly laugh. Too precious.

I was taking Sissy to the dentist and Charlie also went with us, I took some fruit snacks along for Charlie to eat when we got to the dentist. Charlie was holding the fruit snack in his seat as we are driving to the dentist. As soon as I was driving along, Charlie announces to me to not to look at him, immediately I am trying to figure out why? He sits right behind me so I can't see him very well but I am hearing paper rattling. When I pull into the dentist Charlie announces the fruit snacks are all gone. I said to him, I told you not to eat the fruit snacks until you got to the dentist. Charlie just says "Oh". Too cute.

5-19-2011 Charlie went to pee on the potty when all of sudden a poop came out, he was so excited we had to take a picture. He was very proud.

Leah loses first tooth

Leah excitedly runs over to me on my birthday and smiled so big I thought her lips would split and proudly announced her first loss. She was so excited she lost her first tooth on March 21st, 2011. This was a big deal since Kylie already had lost so many teeth. My girls are getting so big, it is time for their teeth to be gone because their baby teeth are starting to look to small for their mouth but the second teeth are still looking too big for their mouths, we are starting to go thru that awkward stage. But they are still staying beautiful thru that stage, in and out. Love you bunches.

Brian's Birthday Gift to Kylie and Leah

Brian and Mary came over on March 5th, Saturday to celebrate their birthdays. We were watching Kylie and Dylan that night and went to 4:30pm mass and then ordered food for dinner. Mary brought a birthday cake for Brian. We were singing to Brian when I went to get a picture, he immediately grabbed Kylie and Leah's heads and pushed their faces in his cake. They had icing all over their faces. We all had a good laugh about it. You never know what to expect from Brian but the girls loved it. I love that boy. He is still my baby boy.

Funnies from the boys

The other day Brian and Mary took all the kids to see a movie, lst time for Charlie, in the middle of the movie, Charlie screams out "Hellllllooooooo Graham Cracker!", they don't know why he did it, it wasn't in the movie but ever since, he says it all the time. I hollered out the other day, Hellloooo Seabiscuit and I was immediately told that was not the word. He is funny.

Last week PawPaw was helping Dylan brush his teeth and asked Dylan about school and what was he learning? Dylan said he was learning about "Jesus" and that Jesus loves us. PawPaw says that is right, Jesus does love us. Dylan proceeded to tell PawPaw, that Jesus died on the cross and that his teacher Mrs. Trah was there. Bob almost spit out his toothpaste in Dylan's face he was laughing so hard. Out of the mouths of babes.

My Beautiful Sissy Girl is 4

My Sissy Girl turned 4 February 13th. She will ask you, "Do you know how old I am?" She will then say, "I will give you a hint, it begins with 4." Is that too cute! Sissy is a very easy going little girl. She always gives in to her brother and her cousin Dylan. Her best friend is Dylan and at school you rarely see one without the other one right next to each other. Sissy is very bright and she tells her Mom all the time, "I am the smartest one of all your kids." She means it too. Sissy is the easiest one to take care of when she is sick. Just give her a pan, she will throw up in it and go back to watching her cartoons and will never call you. She is not like the others, she does not demand attention. She is probably the most affectionate. She will come up to me at all times of the day and give me a big hug for no reason and tell me, I am the best Grandma in the world. She melts your heart when she gives you one of her big smiles and looks at you with those big blue eyes. She is our Sissy girl. She is our Valentine Girl. I love my Sissy girl sooooo much and she is growing up way too fast.

Snow Day at Grandma and Paw Paw's

Even though we are in our 60's we enjoy the day sledding with our grand kids in our backyard. This was the first time Dylan would go sledding, I had to promise him I would not let the sled go in the woods. He refused to go with Paw Paw. The last time we went sledding, we wore Kylie out because one us would wait at the top of the hill for Kylie to ride with us, she told us, she had to rest because she was getting to tired. We groaned and told her to come on and ride with us again, we sounded like some little kids. After sledding we always have hot chocolate with marshmallows of course. This day we also made "Snow Cream", I had just heard of this, the kids got a kick out of making it and eating it with sprinkles. Fun snow days.

An Awesome Christmas 2010

Christmas started for us on Christmas Eve. It had been snowing off and on all day, started at 7am. We left for 4pm mass at 3pm, the streets were pretty clear. Julie, Dylan and Kylie met us in church. The church was decorated beautiful, the lights were dimmed and the choir was singing and they were really good. Dylan was listening to the choir and when they finished their first song, Dylan started clapping and yelling yeah. Of course, he was the only one clapping. I am sure they appreciated his admiration. Mass was starting and Dylan declared he was tired and wanted to nap right before the lights were turned up. When the lights grew bright, Dylan shouted out, "How am I going to nap with these bright lights?" People were snickering at him. During the mass, Julie was trying to show Dylan someone up in the choir, Dylan was standing on the kneelers, we were all sitting, and Dylan was trying to see but then told his mom, not in a quiet voice, those heads are in the way. The lady who was sitting in front of Dylan, turned and leaned over and said, can you see now. He said, no, it is all those heads, pointing to all the people in front of us. He was too much. We made it thru the mass and then proceeded outside to blizzard. Our car was completely covered and so were the streets. It must of snowed 2 inches while we were in church. We barely made it home.

Now it is 6am, I have been up since 3am, waiting for my babies. I have had their presents piled up since yesterday afternoon, I have had most of them wrapped since the day after Thanksgiving. I have forgotten what some of them have in them. It is so much fun. Charlie is really getting into it this year. The kids arrived about 10:30am and then Christmas officially began. It was probably one of the greatest Christmases ever. Everyone was in a good mood and just really happy. We had the kids open their presents first, starting with Charlie, youngest to oldest. It was great and they all seemed to love their presents. Then on the big kids, we started with the oldest to the youngest, that means Brian started it off. They all seemed really happy with their presents also. The most popular present this year seemed to be Leah's karaoke. Mary and Julie just took over that present and entertained us with their beautiful melodic voices. Ha. I have some pics of the day. Linda and Al came about 2:30 and we ate around 3pm. Food was good, prime rib and turkey. Then the kids left around 5pm. Things settled down and Linda and Al left around 7pm. I immediately went to bed because I was done. I loved this Christmas, it was awesome because I have such an awesome, fabulous, loving family.
