LeeLee turns 13, oh no!

12-16-2016 - Our LeeLee turns 13, oh no!  The teenage years are upon us, I am sure she will not be cursed with the smart aleck mouth, not our sweet Leah.  She wears her heart on her sleeve.  Leah always is concerned about everyone and wants us all just to get along.  I love this girl!

Dylan turns 10

11-30-2016 - How can this boy turn 10, it seems like just last year he was learning to walk.  Dylan is just so sweet, he will be playing and come up to me and just hug and kiss me and tell me how much he loves me, such a sweet boy.  He is my heart.

Our Kylie Bug turns 13

August 14, 2016 - Our Kylie turns 13, yuck, the teenage years are here, God help us all.  Our Kylie is a beauty, honor roll student and very sweet (most of the time).  She is 5'5" tall, taller than me, which I know isn't that much. She had a swim party for her birthday.

Our Charlie boy turns 8

July 17, 2016 - Charlie turns 8.  Our little Charlie turns 8, he is our baby but he is growing right in front of us.  He wants to be able to do everything his older sisters are doing and sometimes that is not possible but he continues to try.  We had an awesome time on vacation with our little man.  He is a bundle of energy, smart, cute as a button and loving.  What more could a Grandma ask for.  Love you to the moon and back.

Our Special Vacation with Charlie and Dylan to Branson

July, 2016 - One of my best ideas as a Grandma was taking special vacations with our Grandkids when they turn 8.  Myself and PawPaw would decide on a place that we thought our grandkids would really like and take them on a vacation there.  Charlie was turning 8 this month so we decided on Branson.  The only thing different this year from other years is that Charlie was by himself, so we told Charlie he could pick the person he wanted to go with him.  We all guessed it would be Dylan and so our vacation began.  The other thing that played a part in this journey was PawPaw had double hernia surgery the week before, so he couldn't drive and still had pain, so he mostly spent the days at Stormy Point keeping Daisy company while I took off with the boys everyday on an adventure.

We left on July 10th and our first stop was Bass Pro Shop, we always have to stop there in Springfield, MO, it is a must and the boys really enjoyed it.

The next picture is of our little cabin/townhouse we stayed in, isn't it cute the boys loved it and I will not go in how Daisy was infested with fleas, it was a nightmare, but it did not ruin our trip.

The next day, July 11th we went to fun town, it had an arcade and rides.  Now here is where the problem comes, PawPaw can only walk around and not participate in any of the activities and the boys wanted to ride bumper cars but were not big enough to ride alone, so I had to ride the stupid bumper cars TWICE and of course the boys are screaming the whole time "Get them Grandma, Bump them Grandma, Crush them!"  Needless to say, my neck was never the same but onward and crash them!  The boys loved that place.

The next day July 12th we explored Stormy Point, went swimming and then went to a magic show.

On July 13th the boys and I went out and took a ride on the Duck, everyone needs to ride a Duck once in their life and the boys also got to drive it, they loved it and so did I.  We ended the day with a laser tag game, they liked that too.

July 14th we spent doing activities around Stormy Point and swimming.

July 15th was our last day, we went swimming for most of the day, then in the evening we went to a dinner show called Dixie Stampede, it was a great way to end our vacation. We left the next day to get Charlie home for his 8th birthday on July 17th! We will miss these fun vacations with our grandkids but I am sure we will squeeze in some special little days with them.
